To get Kitana you need to have the double-jumpmove, Now go to the tower where you followKitana find the half broken piller near the twostatues that block the entrance to the portal.Now jump on the half brocken piller and jump onthe roof then go all the way to the back andthat's where you will find Kitana.

When he is tired and kneelingdown throw a projectile and then as fast as youcan grab the head and chuck it. Do thisrepeatidly and with a little luck you have agood chance of winning.

In Goros lair after you long jump across the top brige befor the wooden brige go left and there shouled be a gap in the wall fall off. p.s: don't jump.

If You're Playing as Kung Lao and want EXP, walk up to an enemy hit triangle three times so they fly up, then jump and repeatedly hit square. When Kung Lao comes down uppercut (triangle button) Your enemy, then jump again and hit square repeatedly. Repeat until enemy is dead. If you didn't break the combo, you should have gotten a multiplier of about 2-8 depending on how many enemies you defeated and how much health they had.

You have to unlock all levels of the bladed hat and the spinning move. When fighting enemies, you might want to get rid of a lot of them so you will find a place to hold down the spinning hat move for 3 sec (L2 + circle). When the hat is spinning aroung you, wait ill your energy bar fills back up then unleash the multi spinning move ( L2 + tapping triangle).

First of all you have to unlock all the bladed hat levels and spinning move levels. When you are fighting hold down L2 and circle down for three secs. When your hat is spinning around you wait to your energy bar fills back up the Hold down L2 and keep tapping Triangle. You will see that you unleashed a super spinning move.

To get wall run you must first get the fist of ruin then go to the Wu Shi academy go to the place where you need to put out the fire. The fire should already be put out. Go to the statue blocking your way. Break it with the fist of ruin. Then follow the water to an end then go off the edge there is a flaming coin. Pick it up then you will obtain 'wall run'. Have fun! Stay healthy! Eat right! And be safe! (note:Wall run does not work in vs mode. ).

If your health is running low go to a saving point and your health will be restored, and you don't have to save.

During the opening sequence, you will see Lui Kang and Kung Lao fall through the floor into Goro's lair. If you are playing as either Scorpion or Sub-Zero, you would not have fallen through the floor, however when the sequence ends, you are falling with Kung Lao. If you want to beat them, I suggestthat you continuously do pop up attacks and whilethey are in the air, jump with them and attackthem. Then Kitana will be freed, attack her andtry to dodge and attack the other two later. Ifthey get on your nerves, go for them and worryabout Kitana later. I'm not saying to leave herand let her kick your butt, but you will noticethat she will be slower than before and weaker.Once you defeat Mileena and Jade, they will lookwoozy and sort of dead and cannot attack you,finish Kitana and do the fatality.

During this fight Jax will help you beat Kano.This fight is somewhat easy. When Kano becomes acannonball make sure you either evade the attackor jump away quickly. Also if he throws knivesyou have to try to get out of the way. Focus onlaunch attacks and combos. Then when you defeathim use the fatality.

When you get to the place where you can you canfight Shoa Kahn first go to Kitana. Interact(talk) with her for 4 times. She'll say oh nothe guards heard us the forth time. Then someguards come from the right and start attackingyou. Fight them and go through the door theycame from. Then go down the the stairs and go tothe little area. Then watch the little video.After you get to fight Kano.

Keep dodging his attacks and after like 3attacks he will fall to the floor for like 5seconds. Around you is rocks pick up theserocks and throw it at him. It will take like 10-15 shots to kill him.

At the beggining i would stay far away and useyour projectiles at the highest upgrade. When heshoots projectiles dodge them as best you can.You can also block them. Jump when he gets readyto hit the floor. If you don't jump when your ata short distance you will get hurt. Eventuallyhe gets a pillar, i still suggest to useprojectiles at this point and jump when he holdsit vertically above his head. Also stay reallyfar from him this time. Eventually you will beable to do the fatality and beat him

After you go to the door to leave he comes backas Inferno Scorpion! Make sure you dodge hisdifferent spear attacks, shoot projectiles, andwatch out for when he takes of his mask andspits fire out onto the ground. You also have towatch out that he can raise flames from theground like Round 2 but while fighting!Eventually you'll be done and Scorpion is GONE!

This part is hard. After you go to the platformyou see Scorpion raising his hands. So what youdo is double jump when the ground is cracked soyou can get away from the fire. After threetimes his spear gets stuck, grap it with thethrow button and do the test your might, if youwin he comes back and copy what you did in thefirst round, if you don't you'll have to jumpaway from the fire again. Eventually he goesback upand starts raising his hands again. Justfollow the process and when you defeat himleave.

Scorpion is real tough so this will be long. Atthis point it is crucial to lose low health. Iwould stay away, dodge his spear, and shoot himwith the highest upgrade for projectiles. If youhit him with the projectile that is a circle hegoes on flames, at this point you run to him anddo a launching attack and then jump towards himand hit him with a power attack which uses realdamage. After you've damaged him enough heleaves to a new area find your way around theflaming area and you'll reach a new area forRound 2.

To defeat Reptile, first at the beginning getreal close and try countering which means toguard and then attack some of his moves. If heraises a glowing fist in the air, i'd suggest tojump away. If he creates a glowing ball ofenergy be ready to jump over the projectile.When he goes on top of the area in the backroundyou should go to one of the corners away fromhim and jump whenever he shoots at you. Later heturns invisible, the best option is to splashwater everywhere, jump and use ariel attacks, oruse the green energy coming from the attacks.Using Lui Kang's projectiles cound help you aswell.

First use a block then counter fighting style,then pound him with lots of attacks. Usinglaunch attacks after you block is your best bet.Later on he throws flaming monks at you, hit themonks with projectiles. After that you canfollow with the block counterring thing again.Then when he shoots projectiles at you dodgethem and then hit him with your own. it's bestto hit him when he is in the middle.Eventually to green swords appear, grap them andslice Bakara, if he blocks a lot of the attacksjump away and try hitting him again. Afterhitting him enough you will get test your mightchallenges, if you go far enough grap the secondsword and do the same as the first, eventuallyyou can finsh him off.

First you fight Kitana, I suggest launchingattacks and distance attacks. When you'vedamaged Kitana to about halfway she goes intoanother portal. In that portal is where you faceKitana, Mileena, and Jade. Concentrate on Kitanaavoiding the outworld assassins. Running attacksand quick throws are the best to use. When youdamage Kitana at a certain point she will bethrown into the trap you saw earlier. Now theassassins wiil try and save her so try to avoidthem from going up to the pedestal. The spelltime takes about a minute. Next worry about theassassins when Kitana falls. Use launchingattacks, throws, and power attacks. Be sure tokeep blocking when you aren't attacking becausethey attack out of nowhere. When you lower oneof there health they go into a pit. Go to thetest your might switch to inflict a lot ofdamage. Keep attacking them until they both getwoozy and do the fatality down, down, down,left, and square. You'll win thebattle.

First drop down to the pedestal and grab thesword, if you miss it don't worry. Thenrepeatedly attack him. If he raises his club getout of the way! and jump when he brings doen hisclub. Using aerial attacks can also helpespecially Kung Lao's aerial kicks to avode himfrom touching the ground.

To get long jump you have to beat some oni's then fall off the edge of a bridge then the oni warlord will burst through the wall. Beat him then a coin then you acquire long jump (note: the oni warlord is in the wastelands too).

To unlock baraka the easy way you have to go to the soul tombs. Go through the first room then go through the second room then in the second room there's a door that looks like a portal go in it. Then wall climb up a wall then use the fist of ruin on the statue then jump on the broken floor then there's some wood sticking out jump on it then you will see a red sphere jump to it that unlocks baraka. Well have fun! (note:ONLY IN VS MODE).

To get the fist of ruin you have to beat kitana, mileena, and jade.

Defeat Shao Kahn in Ko-op.

• Best way to do 'Test your might'

When it is time to do test your might instead of just pressing 'x' a lot of times roll your thumb across all of the buttons (x,square,o,and triangle) this will help more when you get to the higher levels in the game, then press L1 after it gets past the line. | Submitted by JasonD.

• Concept art in Goro's Lair

On the bridge near the end if you jump off the left side you will land on a platform which will unlock a new concept art. On the bridge, at the end will be a golden Dragon Koin. Use a projection attack to receive another new concept art. A notification will appear when you have hit it correctly. Applies to the demo version only.

• Developers in The Pit

In the spike pit, the heads that are stuck on the spikes are those of the game's developers. Applies to the demo version only.

• Early Warrior Shrine

You can do this without the swinging move, but your hero needs to have the wall-run and double-jump abilities.
When you enter the warrior shrine area, there is a small fence on the right. Go around it and position yourself by the mountain, as far to the right as you can.
Diagonal wall run to the hero's right. Although you cannot go that way, your hero will still ascend. At the top of the wall-run, double jump to the top, and you will reach the statue to unlock the warrior's shrine with no need to use the swinging bars.

• Easy experience

When you reach a multiple of 10 in your combo meter, the announcer will say comments like 'Outstanding!', 'Superb!', etc.; however, the word 'Toasty!' will be spoken at random times. When 'Toasty!' is spoken, press Down + Start to get an extra 1,000 experience points. If done correctly, the screen will flash and 'TOASTY! 1000 Pts.' will be displayed.

• Easy health

If you use a save point, your health will be fully restored, even if you do not save.

• Easy Test Your Might

Instead of only tapping X, tap X + Square to make the Test Your Might segments much easier.

• Fight Ermac

Once inside the warriors shrine you will notice statues of the Mortal Kombat characters. Interact with the left most ninja statue three times to fight Ermac.

• How to fight Kano

Just before you are going to fight Shang Tsung, Kintaro and Shoa Kahn talk to Millena who is in the prison cell. Every time you unlock a 'concept art' a fatality cheat may pop up. to find it you will need to go to the Kontent menu and click on 'Concept Art' the press R1 button until u see the Mortal Kombat symbol then you click on it and a fatality cheat will pop up and a picture of the guy that uses it. In the Foundation area, follow the pathway downstairs to the left of the save station. Two archers will bust through the wall. Throw one of the archer at the wall to the left of the door way and it will bust open revealing a secret room full of lava and a Ying Yang symbol on a ledge. Grab the other archer and throw him in the lava. Then, double jump off the guards back to get the Ying Yang symbol that unlocks Scorpion in VS mode.

• Play as Sub-Zero in VS mode

When Sub-Zero freezes the castle door in the Wastelands, break the door and enter, then exit the door. Jump up on the dragon statue to the left to find the Ying Yang symbol that unlocks Sub-Zero in VS mode.

• Santa Claus appearance in The Pit

Just before Reptile, stand by the lion. Wait a short time to see Santa Claus and his reindeer fly by.

• Smoke mini-missions

Destroy a statue in Wu-Shi Academy and enter the Warrior Shrine. The Warrior Shrine is at the very start of the Wu-Shi area.
Break the walls in the Soul Tombs to reveal a secret fatality. This is an area with spikes on the ceiling and about six Tarkata in the room. You can see out on the far side of the room and you need to break the four center sections of the wall.
Offer thee Sacrifices in the Sacrifice Room in Soul Tombs. You must go through the room that does not have a green or red symbol above it. Then, do air throws to get the Tarkatas into the spiked areas.
Find all Purple Portals and throw an enemy into each one to unlock the portal. There are only two portals to throw mobs into (one near the Evil Monastery and the other at the lower level near the climbing spot).
To unlock the Pit II, enter the portal and survive in the frozen peaks. After you enter the portal, keep killing the enemies that appear until you are told that you have won.

In the soul tomb portal, got to the area where you have to wall climb. You will see 2 paths. One leads left, the other right. The right path has a statue. Use fist of ruin and break it. Keep going and use the long jump ability across the gap and you will get him.

In the MK2 arena level (right before the portal with the two statues in front of it) in the evil monastery, You will see many pillars. Jump on one of them which is half broken and then double jump onto the roof. You will find the secret there.

Living Forest. Go to the section after the Brotherhood Of Shadow. Long Jump across the gap with the tiny waterfall. Go through the door. Now, get the Clay Statues to come to life. Destroy their shield. You only need 1 of them. Now, get
one of them over near the Giant Stone Cloumn on the other side of the stream. It's the stone column right near where you entered. Throw the Clay Statue into it! It should come crashing down. Now, return to where the little waterfall was. There is no longer a waterfall. Just a Koin that contains Reptile.

To unlock Scorpion hold L2 and press Square, Up, L1, R1, Right, Left, Square while in the main menu. |

In foundry follow the pathway downstairs to the left of the save station. Two archers will bust through the wall. Throw one at the wall to the left of the door way and it will bust open revealing a secret room full of lava and a ying yang on a
ledge. Grab one of the archers and throw them in the lava. Then double jump off the guards back to claim the Scorpion ying yang for VS.
